ProFeme® Progesterone Cream

ProFeme^® progesterone cream is a natural and topical
progesterone cream formulated for women. It is
considered a pharmaceutical-grade hormone cream.

When used according to your doctor’s instructions it

Why progesterone important for women?

There are three sex hormones that determine hormonal balance in women: testosterone, progesterone and estrogen. These are natural produced by the body and are vital for the wellbeing of women.

Progesterone is produced by the ovaries. It is vital for the reproductive system. This includes menstrual regulation and the ability to fall pregnant and see that pregnancy full term. It is also needed to calm and balance the effects of Estrogen, a stimulant hormone.

Low progesterone side effects can include:

Irregular periods or heavy menstrual bleeding

How does ProFeme^® progesterone work?

ProFeme^® restores progesterone levels and aides hormonal balance.

ProFeme^® 10% cream is a topical cream that is applied to the skin. It is an external cream not an internal cream. The ideal location for application is the inner arms, upper thigh or abdomen.

It can take 4-6 weeks to feel the effects of using ProFeme while your body adjusts to the new level of hormones circulating. The cream works alongside your body’s natural progesterone production cycle.

ProFeme^® Dosing Information

Talk to your doctor before starting ProFeme progesterone therapy. The below information should be used as a reference point only. Dosage and application cycles vary depending on the reason why you are using progesterone therapy.

Peri-menopause: The suggested dose is 0.3 ml of ProFeme® 10%, applied during the 12th to 26th days of your cycle. It is possible that you will experience some bleeding 5-10 days after starting treatment. If this happens stop using the ProFeme cream and have a 12 day break.

Menopause: The suggested dose is 0.3 ml of ProFeme® 10%, applied during the 21st to 25th days of your cycle. You should then take a break for 5-7 days following this period. The cycle is then repeated.
